founder & president
Rabbi Kalman Topp is Rabbi emeritus of Beth Jacob Congregation in Beverly Hills, after serving as its senior rabbi for 17 years. at Beth jacob, Rabbi Topp promoted a warm and inclusive atmosphere where all can find their place in the community.
Prior to moving to the west coast, Rabbi Topp served as Associate Rabbi at the Young Israel of Woodmere, NY and Rabbi at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
He received his ordination from Yeshiva University-RIETS and earned a master’s degree in secondary education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education.
Rabbi Topp is also active in the broader communal sphere, currently serving as First Vice-President of the Rabbinical Council of America, is on the Steering Committee of the Board of Rabbis of Southern California, and is a member of the Rabbinic Israel Advocacy Center, a group of 50 senior rabbis in the U.S. advocating for Israel.
Combining a steadfast love of the Jewish People with a passion for teaching Torah, Rabbi Topp endeavors to connect with Jews of all ages.
